The Business Development Officer is responsible for driving company growth by identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients and partners. The role supports sales and market expansion initiatives by promoting the companys manufacturing, supply chain, and business solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant business development experience, preferably in the Electronics or EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) sector
  • Proven expertise in negotiation and product development
  • Strong commercial awareness and in-depth knowledge of market trends in the electronics industry
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced in market research, client engagement, and solution-focused selling.
  • Willing to travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze markets to uncover emerging trends, customer requirements (including unspoken needs), and potential business opportunities
  • Identify and research prospective clients through networking, industry connections, and competitor insights
  • Engage with prospects and manage the full client acquisition process from initial contact to deal closure
  • Develop and deliver persuasive presentations that highlight the company's EMS offerings and provide tailored solutions to client challenges
  • Work closely with internal teams (engineering, planning, logistics) to create practical and value-driven proposals
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with new clients to foster long-term partnerships
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and opportunity pipelines to management
  • Successfully close deals of varying scales with measurable revenue outcomes
