Role Overview
The Assistant Mall Manager supports the Mall Manager in overseeing daily mall operations, ensuring efficient execution of operational plans, tenant satisfaction, and achievement of business objectives. This role plays a key part in maintaining high service standards, supporting revenue growth initiatives, and ensuring smooth coordination across departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, Property Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience in mall, retail, or property management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Solid understanding of mall operations, tenant relations, and basic facilities management.
- Experience in supporting budget monitoring, financial reporting, and operational planning.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing day-to-day mall operations, including facilities, security, housekeeping, and customer service, ensuring smooth and efficient execution.
- Support the implementation of strategies to drive foot traffic, tenant sales, and overall mall performance.
- Maintain positive relationships with tenants; assist in addressing concerns and ensuring compliance with lease terms and mall policies.
- Monitor operational expenses and support budget tracking and cost control initiatives.
- Coordinate with marketing, leasing, and operations teams in executing events, promos, and mall activations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and government regulations.
- Supervise and guide operations staff to ensure consistent service delivery and adherence to standards.
- Prepare operational reports and provide insights/recommendations to the Mall Manager.
