Location: Makati | Full Onsite | Monday to Friday | 8am - 5pm

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting; must be a licensed CPA.
  • With at least 10 years of experience in general accounting and at least 2 years of experience in a managerial position.
  • Must have experience in retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights on variances.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all entries are recorded accurately.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules and perform depreciation calculations.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial initiatives.
  • Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.
