IT Head (Infrastructure, Project Management)

The position of Head of IT offers a strategic and leadership-focused role, where the successful candidate will oversee the development and management of the organization's IT infrastructure and systems. The key responsibilities include collaborating with senior management to align IT strategies with organizational goals, leading the design and implementation of IT infrastructure, managing projects, enforcing cybersecurity policies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications: A Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience:
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in IT Management.
  • Proven leadership experience, particularly in managing IT teams.
  • Experience in managing IT networks across the Philippines, including stores and kiosks.
  • Strong background in software engineering best practices, such as Agile development, Continuous Integration, Deployment, and Testing.
  • Experience in ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.
  • Skills:
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and emerging technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Azure, Power BI, Power Automate, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Experience with data privacy and compliance regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Strong project management skills, especially in managing complex IT projects.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Handled development and infrastructures through internal resources.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Cybersecurity: Ensure the implementation of cybersecurity policies to protect data and systems. Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and prepare the organization to mitigate these risks.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure the cost-effectiveness and performance of services provided.
  • Budgeting and Cost Optimization: Manage the IT departments budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • End User Support: Ensure timely resolution of user issues and provide technical support as needed.

Employment Details:

  • Location: Makati
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, onsite
  • Salary: Up to 200,000 - negotiable
