We are currently looking for an Assistant Mall Manager with pleasing personality who will be responsible in for overseeing the daily operations, administration, and overall performance of the shopping mall together with the Mall Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree holder in business administration, hospitality management, or related field.
  • With at least 5 to 6 years of experience in Mall operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shopping mall, including building maintenance, security, and cleaning services.
  • Ensure that the malls facilities, including parking areas, restrooms, and common areas, are well-maintained and clean.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Develop and enforce mall policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.

Tenant Relations & Leasing:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with mall tenants.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the management team and retail tenants, resolving any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Assist in tenant recruitment and retention efforts, working with leasing agents to identify new tenants and manage lease negotiations.
  • Coordinate with tenants on issues such as store hours, signage, promotions, and event participation.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the malls budget, including operational expenses, marketing, and staffing costs.
  • Oversee rent collection, ensuring timely payment from tenants, and manage accounts receivable.
  • Track and report on financial performance, preparing regular reports for senior management or ownership.
  • Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction or revenue generation.

Marketing & Promotions:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase foot traffic and promote the malls image.
  • Organize and oversee promotional events, seasonal activities, and other special events to drive engagement.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team or agency to design advertising campaigns, including digital, print, and social media.
  • Ensure effective signage and displays to promote mall tenants and services.

Customer Experience & Community Engagement:

  • Ensure a high level of customer service by monitoring the quality of service and addressing any customer complaints or concerns.
  • Implement customer loyalty programs and initiatives to increase satisfaction and retention.
  • Foster community engagement by partnering with local organizations, hosting events, or supporting charitable causes.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for shoppers, employees, and visitors.

Staff Supervision & Leadership:

  • Hire, train, and supervise mall staff, including security personnel, maintenance crews, customer service representatives, and marketing staff.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and development opportunities for staff.
  • Ensure that staff are adequately trained on emergency procedures, customer service standards, and mall policies.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that aligns with the malls mission and values.
