Job Description
The Restaurant Management Systems Head will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the technology systems and processes within restaurant operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless functioning of restaurant systems, focusing on areas such as Controllable Cost/Labor Management, Shift Management, Inventory Management, Cash and Fixed Asset Control, Store and Layout Facilities, and Store Diagnostics.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of restaurant systems, with a focus on Controllable Cost/Labor Management, Shift Management, Inventory Management, Cash and Fixed Asset Control, Store and Layout Facilities, and Store Diagnostics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess needs, and develop strategies for system enhancements and upgrades.
- Oversee the design and deployment of efficient service systems to enhance product delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring timely issue resolution and support.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures for system usage, security, and data integrity.
- Train restaurant staff on system usage and best practices to ensure seamless integration into daily operations.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues, providing timely support and resolution.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for system improvements and investments.
Qualifications:
- Preferably a graduate of Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in restaurant management systems, with expertise in Controllable Cost/Labor Management, Shift Management, Inventory Management, Cash and Fixed Asset Control, Store and Layout Facilities, and Store Diagnostics.
- At least 5 years of managerial experience, leading a team of at least three direct reports.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- In-depth understanding of restaurant operations and familiarity with industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
