Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering:

  • Ensure optimised profitability from both the company's perspective and customer requirements.
  • Partner with Sales Teams to enhance commercial acumen and self-service capabilities in sales reporting and performance analysis.
  • Support all channel related period end reporting, reconciliations and balance sheet management.
  • Supporting Stakeholder ad hoc commercial queries
  • Maintain a suite of relevant and value adding reporting to channel to enable transparency of performance drivers, risks and opportunities.
  • Performance Management:
  • Produce daily sales / Initiative Tracking and monthly reporting
  • Develop and continually improve a management suite of control reports around key financial metrics (Price Matrix, discounts, spend, outlets), risks and opportunities
  • Support period-end reporting, reconciliations, CMA balances
  • Analyse channel performance to deliver actionable insight (e,g. trading updates) and explain key agreement terms and risks.
  • Produce sales presentations for sales performance reviews.
  • Compliance with SOX requirements in role deliverables and look for continuous improvement opportunities
  • Support Supply Chain Finance (SCF) activities, ensuring adherence to COGS standards and accurate data handling.
  • Support period-end reporting (incl. preparation and review of some accruals, journals and balance sheet reconciliations).

Analysis and Modelling:

  • Analysis to develop robust forecasts, plans, and budgets.

Process Improvement:

Relationship Building:

  • Aid Partner Sales team and Senior Finance Business Partner in modelling and
  • Generate and analyse channel and customer profitability reports, providing insights to support decision-making including Customer Contracts
  • Support trading updates and outlook forecasts by managing templates, data extraction, and consolidation.
  • Identify opportunities for process/reporting improvements and work with the continuous improvement team and key stakeholders to implement.
  • Build credibility and relationships with business partners.
