E-commerce Senior Category Lead (Beauty & Wellness)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Category Lead to drive the growth and performance of our Beauty & Wellness category. This role will own category strategy, revenue targets, assortment planning, and promotional execution to maximize sales, profitability, and customer engagement.

You will play a critical role in shaping the category roadmap, working cross-functionally to deliver a best-in-class online shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end category strategy for Beauty & Wellness across e-commerce channels
  • Drive revenue growth, margin optimization, and market share expansion
  • Manage product assortment, pricing, and merchandising strategy
  • Lead campaign planning and execution (e.g., double-digit sales events, payday promos)
  • Analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and trends to inform decisions
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on traffic, conversion, and retention initiatives
  • Work with supply chain to ensure inventory health and demand forecasting
  • Build strong relationships with brands, vendors, and marketplace partners
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify growth opportunities and gaps
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior category or account managers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 6–10+ years of experience in e-commerce, category management, or retail merchandising
  • Strong background in Beauty, Skincare, Personal Care, or Wellness categories
  • Proven track record of managing P&L and hitting revenue targets
  • Experience with major platforms (e.g., Shopee, Lazada, Shopify, Amazon)
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or data tools
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in brand/vendor management or marketplace operations
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, promotions, and campaign analytics
