The Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting demand, managing inventory, and ensuring optimal stock levels to support operations and sales. The role involves analyzing data, tracking stock, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency in the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create accurate demand forecasts using historical data and upcoming promotions/events
  • Monitor stock aging and manage replenishment for stores and warehouses
  • Review inventory levels to ensure product availability and optimal turnover
  • Analyze trends, evaluate forecast accuracy, and adjust models as needed
  • Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Purchasing to optimize stock availability
  • Prepare and present demand and inventory reports to stakeholders
  • Implement best practices in demand planning and support supply chain improvements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in demand planning or inventory management, preferably in FMCG
  • Proficient in Excel and demand forecasting software; ERP experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
