Job Description
Preparing the company to succeed in the retail market by making the sales process faster, smarter, and more efficient. You will lead the strategy to improve how the team sells, using data to make better decisions and building training programs that help everyone perform at their best
Key Responsibilities
- Create a Winning Sales Strategy: Build and lead a plan that helps the team engage customers effectively and grow the retail business.
- Use Data to Improve Results: Turn customer information and sales data into clear insights that help the leadership team make smarter business moves.
- Build Team Skills: Design the training, tools, and systems that help sales staff sharpen their skills.
- Fix Process Gaps: Regularly check how the team operates, find whats not working, and introduce new technology or better ways of doing things.
- Support Senior Leadership: Act as a technical expert for the Group Head, preparing the data and presentations needed for high-level meetings.
- Track and Reward Success: Set up clear ways to measure how well the sales team is doing and work with HR to create fair reward programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business or Marketing is required; a Masters degree is a plus.
- Industry Background: Extensive experience in retail sales (B2B and B2C), specifically within industries like power generation, pharma, or tech.
- Proven Leadership: At least 7 years in sales enablement and 5 years of experience managing teams and large projects.
- Essential Skills: You must be great at strategic planning, using retail sales technology, and leading people through organizational changes.
