Role Overview
The Leasing Manager is responsible for driving occupancy, tenant mix optimization, and revenue growth across assigned commercial properties. This role leads leasing strategies, negotiates lease agreements, and builds strong relationships with tenants and brokers to ensure a competitive and profitable property portfolio. The position also oversees the leasing team and contributes to maximizing overall asset value.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of leasing experience within commercial, office, or mixed-use properties
- At least 2 years of people management experience, with a proven ability to lead and develop teams
- Demonstrated experience in managing a diverse tenant mix (e.g., office, F&B, co-working, service, retail)
- Strong professional network within the commercial property or real estate industry
- Proven track record in lease negotiations, contract management, and deal structuring
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess tenant performance, market trends, and space productivity
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute leasing strategies to achieve occupancy targets, maximize rental income, and enhance property positioning
- Identify, source, and secure tenants aligned with the property's target mix, ensuring balance across various commercial categories
- Lead lease negotiations, including terms, contracts, renewals, and amendments, to optimize revenue and long-term value
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, brokers, and other key stakeholders
- Monitor tenant performance, market conditions, and leasing trends to recommend repositioning, re-leasing, or expansion opportunities
- Collaborate with property management, marketing, and operations teams to support tenant onboarding, promotions, and property performance
- Oversee and mentor the leasing team, setting targets, tracking performance, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
- Prepare leasing reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management, providing insights on occupancy, pipeline, and revenue performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, lease agreements, and regulatory requirements
