Role Overview:
The Content Lead is responsible for leading day-to-day content planning and execution while supporting broader marketing and business objectives. This role balances hands-on creative work with team coordination, performance optimization, and close collaboration with Marketing and Strategy partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Planning & Execution

Lead the execution of content initiatives aligned with established marketing and brand strategies

Translate strategic briefs into clear creative direction for writers, designers, and producers

Oversee content quality, consistency, and on-time delivery across channels

Remain hands-on in content development when needed
Performance Awareness & Optimization

Review engagement and performance data to identify improvement opportunities

Adjust creative execution based on feedback from Marketing and performance teams

Support testing of formats, messaging, and visuals to improve conversion and effectiveness

Communicate performance learnings clearly to the team
Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with Marketing Strategists to align creative output with campaign goals

Participate in constructive discussions around performance without defensiveness

Provide creative input while remaining open to iteration based on data insights

Escalate risks, trade-offs, or misalignments early and professionally
Team Leadership & Recognition

Guide and support a small creative team or content contributors

Provide clear feedback and coaching to improve execution quality

Ensure individual contributions are recognized and communicated to stakeholders

Foster a collaborative, motivated, and accountable team environment
Creative Quality & Brand Alignment

Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and visual standards

Balance creative expression with data-driven objectives

Ensure all content supports the intended audience journey and campaign goals
Tools, AI & Workflow

Use AI tools to support ideation, drafting, quality checks, and production efficiency

Follow established AI and brand governance guidelines

Contribute to improving content workflows and processes
Qualifications & Experience

4–5 years of experience in content, creative, or brand-related roles
-
Prior experience leading projects or mentoring junior creatives

Working knowledge of content performance metrics (engagement, CTR, conversion support)

Strong collaboration skills with marketing or strategy teams
-
Comfortable receiving and applying data-driven feedback
-
Exposure to AI tools for content or creative production is an advantage
