Accounting Manager (Manufacturing)

We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead the finance operations in the Philippines. This role requires strong leadership, initiative, and the ability to manage end-to-end accounting functions with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting and finance team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial processes.
• Handle full-cycle accounting operations including banking, online taxation, PEZA filings, and ERP transactions (preferably Odoo ERP).
• Oversee month-end closing activities and ensure timely submission of financial statements and reports.
• Prepare budgeting, forecasting, and profit & loss (P&L) reports, with insights for both the Philippine and US management teams.
• Generate and present ManCom reports for both local and international leadership teams.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, government regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies as needed.
• Continuously improve internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 710 years of experience in accounting and finance, including team leadership or managerial experience.
• Strong experience in ERP systems (Odoo preferred), PEZA filings, and tax compliance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working with teams across multiple locations (Philippines and US).
