The Assistant Vice President for Core Business Strategy & Market Portfolio Development is the overall Marketing and Business Lead for the primary or foundational media/telecom business segment. The main goal of this role is Revenue Growth and Profitability.

  • Lead the overall subscriber base management, including Subscriber Acquisition and Churn Management.
  • Focus on Revenue Growth through Lifetime Value Uplift via churn management and upsell initiatives.
  • Oversee Portfolio management for channel line-up build that will deliver high consumer relevance and satisfaction.
  • Conduct A&P Management to ensure effective and cost-efficient execution.
  • Identify and grow product distribution partnerships.
  • Perform Market gap and opportunity analysis to find areas of high potential and deploy the right products and programs.
  • Analyze market trends, market needs and usage habits.
  • Be responsible for Business Modelling and Budget creation and monitoring.
  • Ensure the effective management of the Core Business team and internal/external partners to support key business imperatives.

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years marketing and/or product management experience.
  • Prior experience in FMCG, Telecoms, Digital Marketing, Advertising, E-Commerce or related industries.
  • Strong business planning & execution skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Flexibility during times of change and creative under pressure.
  • Must possess excellent written, oral communications and presentation skill, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Required education: Business Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, Advertising, or related courses (graduate school education is an advantage ).
