Accounting Manager | Retail (Makati)

Work Setup: Monday to Friday, Full Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, reporting, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage financial closing activities, preparation of statements, reconciliations, and maintenance of accounting records and systems.
• Develop and strengthen internal controls, finance processes, and policies related to cash management, inventory, expenses, and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, audits, and proper financial documentation.
• Lead and support finance initiatives by improving accounting processes, implementing systems, and providing financial insights for business decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 3 years in retail or similar industry environments.
• Proven experience in accounting management, team supervision, and financial operations oversight.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, internal controls, and financial reporting processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with experience in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
