Role Overview
We are seeking an elite, commercially sharp Sales Manager with 10 to 12 years of experience to drive local market expansion. This is not a role for a theoretician; we need a high-impact hunter with an undeniable executive presence and a deep, active local network.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of consistently smashing major annual sales targets in the local B2B landscape. You will bring existing C-suite connections from key target industries and possess the gravitas, fluency, and personality to command a room, influence stakeholders, and lead a high-performing sales team by example.
Key Requirements & Candidate Profile
1. Verifiable Sales Metrics & Strategic Depth
- Target-Driven History: Candidates must be ready to demonstrate a clear history of achieving specific annual sales targets (e.g., $1M+ ARR or local currency equivalent). You should be prepared to walk through your exact playbook: the strategies utilized, how you built your pipeline, and how you closed major deals.
- Data-Minded Execution: Strong focus on numbers, conversion metrics, cost of acquisition, and sales funnel data to consistently forecast and hit team quotas.
2. Local Market Priority & Elite Networks
- Local Focus: This role prioritizes deep penetration of the local market. International experience is secondary; we value localized expertise, regulatory understanding, and immediate market access.
- The "Who’s Who" Connection: You must possess an active, warm network of decision-makers, HR leaders, and C-suite executives across key local industries and business associations.
3. Executive Presence & Communication
- Polished Presentation: High executive presence, sharp grooming, and strong professional charisma are essential to represent the brand at high-level corporate pitches and industry events.
- Flawless Communication: Exceptional, fluent English communication skills are mandatory. The role requires the ability to articulate complex SaaS and service values smoothly to discerning corporate buyers.
Target Industry Background
Candidates must possess an extensive sales background and an active network within one or more of the following sectors:
- HRIS, Payroll, & HCM Software
- B2B SaaS / Enterprise Software
- Telecommunications (Telco)
- BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) & IT Enabled Services
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Revenue: Own and exceed the assigned annual sales target through strategic account mapping, aggressive lead generation, and elite-level closing tactics.
- Leverage Connections: Actively tap into personal networks and industry associations to open doors and accelerate the sales cycle with mid-to-large enterprise clients.
- Strategic Planning: Create local market playbooks that outline clear strategies for customer acquisition, cross-selling, and market footprint expansion.
- Team Leadership & Optimization: Act as a player-coach. Use your personality and experience to motivate, train, and structurally optimize the sales force—replacing or upgrading talent where necessary to maintain a peak-performance culture.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless daily CRM data tracking, proposal generation, and meticulous month-end/year-end closures.
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience: 10 to 12 years of core B2B sales/business development experience within the specified target industries (HRIS, SaaS, Telco, BPO, Payroll).
- Mobility: Willingness to travel locally for high-level client face-to-face meetings; valid driver’s license and personal vehicle preferred.
