Role Overview
The Finance Controller will drive the financial integrity and performance of the organization by leading accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal control frameworks. This role partners closely with leadership to ensure sound financial decision‑making, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment supporting real estate and managed office service operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting; must be a CPA.
- 8 to 10+ years of progressive finance experience with a strong track record in finance management, financial reporting, accounting operations, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Prior experience managing accounting teams and financial planning processes.
- Demonstrated exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Experienced in ManCom interaction and executive-level reporting, with strong executive presence.
- Proven ability to deliver financial insights that influence strategic decisions.
- ERP and financial systems proficiency; advanced Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, management reports, and board reporting packages.
- Drive annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, including scenario analysis and operational planning input.
- Establish and enforce robust internal controls that safeguard assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Coordinate external audits and support tax compliance activities and regulatory filings.
- Partner with business unit leaders to interpret financial results, provide insights, and recommend performance improvements.
- Manage cash flow analysis, working capital optimization, and financial risk assessments.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team to enhance capability and performance.
- Continuously improve finance processes, automation, and reporting to support scalability and growth.
