Job Summary

The Unit Leasing Associate to support the leasing activities from generating and qualifying prospective tenants to assisting with property viewings, following up on leads, and coordinating the documentation and move-in process. 

Key Responsibilities

Leasing & Lead Generation

  • Generate and qualify prospective tenant leads through online platforms, referrals, walk-ins, social media, and other channels
  • Respond to inquiries and provide accurate information on available units, rental rates, amenities, and leasing requirements
  • Follow up regularly with prospects to support lead conversion
  • Help maintain an updated leasing pipeline and prospect database
  • Support the team in hitting assigned leasing and occupancy targets
  • Help build relationships with brokers, referral partners, and prospective corporate clients

Property Viewing & Client Engagement

  • Coordinate and conduct property viewings for prospective tenants
  • Present available units, amenities, and leasing options clearly and professionally
  • Understand prospect needs and recommend suitable available units
  • Explain basic lease terms, rental rates, policies, and move-in requirements
  • Address initial inquiries and concerns, escalating more complex matters to the appropriate team

Leasing Documentation

  • Assist prospects with application requirements, tenant screening, KYC, and document submission
  • Prepare and organize leasing forms, quotations, contracts, and other required documents
  • Ensure documentation is complete and accurate before endorsement for move-in
  • Maintain updated records of prospects, tenants, and leasing transactions

Tenant & Move-in Support

  • Coordinate with Property Management, Finance, and Maintenance teams regarding tenant requirements
  • Help ensure units are ready for scheduled move-ins
  • Support tenant orientation covering move-in procedures, house rules, and property guidelines
  • Assist in addressing basic tenant concerns, coordinating with the appropriate team for resolution
  • Support lease renewal and tenant retention activities

Property Marketing & Market Support

  • Assist in preparing and posting property listings across relevant online platforms
  • Monitor inquiries and listing performance, providing feedback on lead-generation opportunities
  • Assist in leasing events, property promotions, open houses, and other occupancy initiatives
  • Monitor basic competitor information, rental rates, and market activity

Administrative & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate leasing trackers, prospect records, and tenant documentation
  • Prepare basic reports on inquiries, viewings, leads, conversions, and occupancy
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned leasing and administrative tasks
  • Perform other leasing and operational duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in leasing, real estate, sales, customer service, hospitality, property management, or a related field
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internship, sales, customer-facing, or property-related experience may also be considered
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-oriented with a genuine interest in sales and client engagement
  • Comfortable conducting property presentations and speaking with prospective tenants
  • Basic negotiation and follow-up skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple prospects and tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Experience with CRM, leasing, or property management systems is an advantage
  • Willing to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedules when required
