Finance Manager

Location: Makati
Work Setup: Onsite, Morning

Core Purpose

To oversee the end-to-end financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in reporting, strict compliance with Philippine tax laws (BIR), and providing strategic insights to the leadership team to drive profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with PFRS/IFRS.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and perform monthly variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget).
• Tax & Compliance: Oversee BIR filings (VAT, EWT, ITR), SEC requirements, and local business permit renewals.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily liquidity, manage AR/AP cycles, and optimize working capital.
• Audit Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and ensure all schedules are ready for the annual audit.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of 3–5 accounting staff (AP/AR/GL).
• Process Improvement: Implement or optimize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or Xero) and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
• License: CPA license is highly preferred for onsite roles in Makati.
• Experience: At least 5–8 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Macros) and ERP software.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, "on-the-floor" presence, and the ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
