Job Summary
The E-commerce Manager – Retail will lead and scale the online retail business, driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer experience across digital channels. This role carries full P&L responsibility and is accountable for commercial strategy, online merchandising, campaign execution, marketplace performance, and overall digital growth.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, deep expertise in e-commerce operations, and the ability to collaborate effectively across commercial, marketing, data, supply chain, and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership & P&L
  • Take full ownership of the E-commerce Retail P&L.
  • Set and achieve revenue, margin, and profitability targets.
  • Develop pricing strategies, promotional calendars, and growth plans.
  • Monitor key financial and operational KPIs (sales, conversion rate, AOV, margin, CAC, etc.).
  • Report performance, forecasts, and insights to senior leadership.
E-commerce Strategy & Growth
  • Define the e-commerce strategy, roadmap, and success metrics.
  • Drive traffic acquisition through SEO, paid media, CRM, and marketplace channels.
  • Optimize the full customer journey from acquisition to retention.
  • Identify new digital growth opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
  • Lead marketplace strategy for 1P and 3P channels where applicable.
Online Merchandising & Trading
  • Oversee digital merchandising, product assortment, and category performance.
  • Ensure accurate product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory availability.
  • Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, launches, and trading events.
  • Optimize on-site experience including navigation, search, and conversion funnels.
Performance Marketing & Campaign Management
  • Oversee digital campaigns across paid search, social, display, email, and affiliate channels.
  • Ensure effective targeting, tracking, and attribution.
  • Optimize campaigns based on ROAS, ROI, conversion rate, and customer lifetime value.
  • Coordinate promotional activities to maximize peak sales periods.
Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with supply chain and operations teams to ensure stock availability and fulfillment efficiency.
  • Work with technology teams to enhance website performance, UX, and platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with data teams to ensure accurate performance measurement and reporting.
  • Align with marketing and brand teams to ensure consistent messaging and positioning.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, Communications, or a related field.
Experience
  • 5–7 years of experience in e-commerce, digital retail, or online trading.
  • Proven experience managing P&L and driving online revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, conversion optimization, and analytics.
  • Experience managing online merchandising and marketplace operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across commercial, marketing, data, operations, and technology teams.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
