About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Retailer Marketing Manager to lead our General Trade (GT) strategy. In this role, you will be the primary architect of how our brands show up in traditional retail environments. You will work closely with Sales and Brand teams to ensure our products are not just on the shelf, but are the first choice for both the retailer and the shopper.
Key Responsibilities:
- Channel Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement the annual retailer marketing plan for the GT channel, aligning with category priorities and business growth targets.
- PICOS (Picture of Success): Define and deploy "Picture of Success" standards to ensure flawless in-store execution, premium visibility, and optimal product placement.
- Retailer Engagement: Create compelling sell-in toolkits and promotional programs designed to incentivize traditional retailers and distributors to prioritize our portfolio.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze shopper behavior, internal sales data, and competitor trends to identify white-space opportunities and optimize trade spend.
- Investment Management: Oversee the trade marketing budget, ensuring high ROI on promotional activities, point-of-sale (POS) materials, and retailer incentives.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Field Sales teams to track execution performance and provide the necessary training and tools to achieve "Gold Standard" retail presence.
- New Product Launches: Lead the trade-side execution for new product developments (NPD), ensuring impactful launches across the nationwide GT network.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Trade Marketing, Channel Marketing, or Sales within the FMCG/Consumer Goods industry (Beverage experience is a plus).
- Channel Expertise: Deep understanding of the General Trade/Traditional Trade landscape and distributor-led models.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable commercial strategies.
- Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management and presentation skills; able to influence both internal executives and external partners.
- Project Management: Proven track record of managing large-scale marketing budgets and multi-channel campaigns simultaneously.
