Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Commercial to lead the companys commercial strategy, revenue growth, and market expansion. This role will oversee sales, business development, partnerships, and commercial planning to ensure sustainable growth and profitability. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven track record of driving revenue, building high-performing teams, and developing successful go-to-market strategies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the companys overall commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Lead and manage sales, business development, partnerships, and key account management teams.
  • Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements with clients and partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to align commercial initiatives with company goals.
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to guide commercial decisions.
  • Establish KPIs, performance targets, and incentive programs for the commercial team.
  • Lead and mentor sales and business development leaders to drive high performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial, sales, or business development leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of revenue growth and strategic partnership development.
  • Strong experience in sales strategy, pricing, and negotiations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Experience managing large teams and cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in retail, FMCG, distribution, or consumer products industries.
  • MBA or advanced business degree is an advantage.
  • Experience managing national or regional commercial operations.
