About the job Head of Portfolio and Asset Management
Key Responsibilities
1. Portfolio Management (50%)
- Lead tactical and strategic decisions across all equity mandates.
- Oversee portfolio implementation and adherence to risk and performance objectives.
- Maintain and update the house view and performance scorecards.
2. Research and Strategy (20%)
- Oversee equity research covering macro, sector, and company analysis.
- Translate insights into actionable investment ideas.
- Ensure compliance with research and accreditation requirements.
3. Governance and Operations (10%)
- Support efficient trading and compliance workflows.
- Contribute to product development and process improvements.
4. Leadership and Development (10%)
- Manage, mentor, and develop the equities team.
- Represent the equities function in investment committees and reviews.
5. Stakeholder Support (10%)
- Provide portfolio updates and market insights to clients and partners.
- Participate in events and initiatives to promote the firms investment capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- At least 10-15 years of experience in equities portfolio management or investment research.
- Advanced degree or certification (MBA, CFA, CPA) preferred.
