Role Overview
The Regional Visual Merchandising Head leads the strategic direction and execution of visual merchandising across multiple malls or retail branches within the region. This role ensures consistent brand presentation, elevated customer experience, and optimized commercial impact through innovative and cohesive visual displays. The position oversees end-to-end visual merchandising operations while collaborating with cross-functional and regional stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Fine Arts, Design, or a related field
- 10 to 15+ years of relevant experience in visual merchandising within the retail industry
- At least 5 years in a senior managerial or leadership role, managing large teams and multi-site operations
- Proven experience handling multiple malls, stores, or retail branches with full oversight of visual merchandising operations
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to drive performance across geographically dispersed teams
- Advanced expertise in store design, space planning, window displays, and large-scale visual rollouts
- Strong business acumen with the ability to link visual merchandising strategies to sales performance and customer engagement
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or similar) is an advantage
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the regional visual merchandising strategy, ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives
- Oversee end-to-end visual merchandising operations across multiple malls or branches, ensuring consistency and high-quality execution
- Lead, mentor, and manage regional visual merchandising teams, including performance management and capability development
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leasing teams to support campaigns, launches, and mall-wide activations
- Establish and enforce visual standards, guidelines, and governance across all locations
- Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for enhancement
- Manage budgets, resources, timelines, and vendor partnerships for large-scale installations and rollouts
- Analyze sales performance and customer behavior insights to evaluate effectiveness of visual strategies and drive continuous improvement
- Stay updated on global retail and design trends to introduce innovative concepts and elevate overall visual experience
