Role Summary

This role holds end-to-end accountability for the companys tax strategy, governance, and regulatory engagement. The Head of Tax serves as a key adviser to executive leadership, managing complex tax structures and large-scale operations while maintaining strong working relationships with tax authorities and external regulators.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and drive the organizations overall tax strategy, governance framework, and risk posture
• Provide leadership over all tax functions, including direct tax, indirect tax, tax audits, and tax planning
• Act as the primary point of contact with tax authorities and external stakeholders, including regulators and advisors
• Oversee tax compliance and statutory reporting across multiple manufacturing sites nationwide
• Review, analyze, and present quarterly tax positions, including timing differences and deferred tax matters
• Partner closely with Finance and senior leadership on enterprise risk management and strategic initiatives
• Lead, develop, and retain a lean but senior tax organization composed of multiple functional heads

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading the tax function of a multinational company or large conglomerate
• Strong background in tax audits, regulatory negotiations, and strategic tax planning
• Proven ability to operate at the executive level and influence both internal leadership and external regulators
• Highly adaptable, resilient, and effective in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
