Job Summary
The Finance Controller will lead the companys finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role plays a critical part in financial planning, budgeting, and business strategy while managing a high-performing finance team in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Both CPA and highly experienced Non-CPA professionals with strong finance leadership backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily finance and accounting operations, ensuring strong internal controls and efficient financial procedures.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports while providing insights to support business decisions.
- Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management to maintain financial stability.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and maintain accurate financial records.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team to drive operational excellence.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banking partners, and regulatory agencies.
- Work closely with senior management to support financial strategy, cost optimization, and business growth.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
7–10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with 3–5 years in a managerial role.
CPA is an advantage, but experienced Non-CPA finance leaders are welcome to apply.
Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
Proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills is required.
Previous experience in the FMCG industry is highly preferred.
Strong analytical, leadership, risk management, and organizational skills.
