About the job Oracle HCM Functional Analyst
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include, but are not limited to:
- Lead functional design, configuration, and optimization of Oracle HCM Cloud and PeopleSoft, primarily focusing on Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR, Compensation (Wage Progression) and Benefits products/modules.
- Perform business requirements gathering, business fit-gap analysis, data mapping, business processes analysis and process modeling.
- Develop functional solutions, configure system setups, provide functional guidance to technical teams, perform testing and validation, and create associated documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, process and data issues. Identify opportunities for more efficient and effective ways to perform operations.
- Review Oracle releases, CWBs and tax updates, providing recommendations to stakeholders on new functionality. Enable and test new functionality. Perform necessary regression testing.
- Design & Develop OCI integration between Fusion HCM and other applications and develop PaaS Solutions aligning to the business requirements.
- Coordinate with the project teams and business team as required by the project needs.
- Work with project manager to align on the project schedule and deliverables.
Qualification
Skillset Requirements
- 4-year degree (Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or
relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience. - 3+ years of business analysis and/or techno-functional experience in Human Capital
Management (HCM) functions. - Working functional knowledge on any of these HCM Cloud products/modules Core HR, Compensation (Wage Progression), and Benefits.
- Techno-functional experience with Oracle HCM Cloud applications is highly desired.
Experience supporting similar enterprise HCM systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or similar will be considered. - Strong requirement study, fit-gap analysis, functional and technical specifications design documentation skills required.
- Data and analytical and troubleshooting skills required. Experience with SQL is preferred.
- Strong skills in analyzing functional business processes, process modeling, business modeling tools, developing system solutions and documentation standards
- Ability to create, organize and perform test cases for solutions is highly desirable.
Qualifications / Other Requirements
- Strong collaboration skills while working with SMEs, senior leaders, IT PMO and business users/stakeholders to drive business analysis/user requirements.
- Strong negotiation skills when working with business users to develop requirements and defend systems capabilities.
- Experience in working with offshore / onshore model.
- Ability to collaborate and direct work efforts or project deliverables from initiation to completion.
- Strong sense of ownership in work product and quality of outcome.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to follow through to resolve customer issues.
- Ability to understand client expectations and recognize and resolve issues that may affect delivery.
- Ability to successfully partner with vendors/agencies and internal stakeholders; ability to work within a cross-functional team environment where teams are sometimes located remotely.
- Strong ability to prioritize and resolve technical issues within the broader project team.
- Experience in Agile delivery/Scrum methodology
- Willing to work on shifting schedule, weekends and holidays as needed.
