Internal Finance Manager role is ideal for an individual with strong communication, management skills, and initiative. This role would suit someone confident in their ability, and ready to step into a dynamic, fast-growing business with a strong client base. We specialize in assisting offshore companies to establish a footprint in the Philippines, as well as the rest of Asia and the Pacific.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provision of end-to-end financial management and accounting services, including preparation of
  • financial statements, cash flow reports, and statutory financial accounts and directing all
  • aspects of accounting operations such as receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Tax & Regulatory Compliance (including monitoring of compliance calendar)
  • Management of a portfolio of tax, accounting and payroll clients
  • Coordination with the relevant government agencies for internal and client tax, accounting and
  • payroll requirements
  • Preparation of company and client annual financial reports (IFRS)
  • Developing and maintaining all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general
  • ledger and financial reporting; ensuring financial records are maintained in accordance with
  • generally accepted accounting principles
  • Assisting senior management in financial planning and results management
  • Coordinating, preparing, and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Coordinating and/or preparing tax schedules, returns, and information
  • Managing all tax planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll, property,
  • and other applicable taxes
  • Managing cash flow and bank reconciliation
  • Ensuring timely invoicing and acolelctions
  • Managing and training the team of accountants and ensuring high-quality work product
  • Other finance and administrative duties as required


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Professional Licensed - CPA
  • At least 6-8 years of managerial tax and accounting experience
  • Prior work experience with Deloitte, KPMG, Ernst & Young, or PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is an advantage
  • Business Understanding:
  • Proficiency and mastery of the accounting standards, applicable rules, and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business context and processes to identify and recommend process improvements

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong financial analytical skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Philippine tax laws
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate relationships
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
  • Capability to teach and train people effectively
  • Proficient in MS Office programs and in advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-look up, macros, etc.) and good working knowledge in accounting and tax preparation software.
