Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Database Developer with expertise in fine-tuning to optimize and maintain our database systems. As a Database Developer, your primary responsibility will be to enhance the performance, stability, and efficiency of our database infrastructure. You will work closely with the development and IT teams to ensure the databases meet the specific requirements of our applications and integrate reporting tools for data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fine-tune and optimize database performance to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
2. Monitor and maintain database systems to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.
3. Collaborate with software developers to design and implement database schema modifications for improved efficiency.
4. Develop and implement indexing, caching, and query optimization strategies.

6. Design and implement backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical data.
7. Integrate and configure reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Crystal Reports) to create meaningful data visualizations and reports.

9. Work with the IT team to ensure the security and compliance of database systems.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Database Developer, with a focus on fine-tuning and performance optimization.
3. Proficiency in database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
4. Strong SQL query writing and optimization skills.
5. Knowledge of database indexing, caching, and performance tuning techniques.
6. Experience with database monitoring and diagnostic tools.
7. Familiarity with reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Crystal Reports.
8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
