Job Responsibilities/Work Content

A. Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Develop and implement the departments strategic plan.

  • Define goals, KPIs, and performance targets in alignment with the organizations objectives.

  • Lead initiatives that drive innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

B. Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient workflows.

  • Establish, update, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Allocate resources effectively to support departmental activities.

  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of departmental outputs and services.

C. People & Performance Management

  • Lead and supervise department staff, fostering a positive and productive work culture.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching, training, and development opportunities.

  • Identify staffing needs and participate in recruitment and onboarding.

  • Handle performance issues and maintain high standards of professionalism.

D. Financial & Resource Management

  • Develop and manage the departments budget.

  • Approve expenditures and optimize resource utilization.

  • Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving initiatives.

E. Policy, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure departmental adherence to all internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and audit readiness.

  • Identify and mitigate operational risks.

F. Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as the primary link between the department and senior management.

  • Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional initiatives.

  • Prepare and present reports, proposals, and departmental performance updates.

  • Facilitate regular team meetings and ensure clear communication.

G. Project & Program Oversight

  • Lead and manage departmental projects from conception to completion.

  • Monitor progress, timelines, budgets, and expected outcomes.

  • Ensure that project deliverables meet organizational standards.

H. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with clients, vendors, partners, and regulatory bodies as needed.

  • Address and resolve stakeholder concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Represent the department in meetings, reviews, and external engagements.
