About the job IT Support Staff

  1. Responsibilities:
  • Monitor system performance, analyze and resolve system issues to ensure stability and efficiency.
  • Communicate with customer, gather their issues, and provide troubleshooting and solutions.
  • Collect customer requirements and feedback them to the R&D team in China.
  • Track customer issues or requirements until final closure.
  • Manage patch upgrades and functionality upgrade verification.
  • Coordinate and respond swiftly to handle emergency incidents and resolve system failures.

 2. Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Prior experience in IT systems operations is preferred.
  • Proficient in Linux/Unix operating systems, with the ability to configure, manage, and troubleshoot systems.
  • Familiarity with common shell scripting languages and automation for operations.
  • Experience with database management (e.g., MySQL) and familiar with SQL queries.
  • Basic knowledge of the telecommunications industry.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work under pressure, with good emergency response and troubleshooting abilities.
