About the job IP/Datacom Solution Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Take end-to-end ownership of pre-sales activities for the Organizations IP/Datacom/Security product line.
  2. Engage with customer for solution selling, guide customer to latest technologies and trend that can bring value to customers.
  3. Engage with sales team to find new opportunities, help channel team to build strong channel eco-system and guide post-sales/services department during delivery phase.
  4. Conduct trainings for channel partners IP/Datacom/Security products and solution.
  5. Engage and lead marketing activities to promote the brand.
  6. Maintain sale pipeline for IP/Datacom/Security product line for assigned vertical.
  7. Travel based on requirements.
  8. Take responsibility for network safety.
  9. Ensuring fast response, accurate actions and decisions during crisis.

Professional Knowledge:

  1. Advance level knowledge of IP/Datacom/Security products and solution including latest technologies and trend like SDN & AI.
  2. Should previous post-sales and pre-sales experience for IP/Datacom/Security products and solution
  3. Expert level knowledge network foundation concepts like IP Routing (OSPF, ISIS, BGP), IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, SR-MPLS, SRv6, Switching (STP,RSTP, LACP, MLAG etc), Firewalling technologies like security policing, IPS, AV, URL/DNS filtering, WLAN (WiFi-5, WiFi-6, WiFi 6E & WiFi-7)
  4. Should have working knowledge of different network types like Campus, DCN and WAN
  5. Should have professional to expert level industry certifications like CCNP, JNCIP, HCNP, CCIE, JCIE, HCIE etc.

  1. Effective Communication Capability: Effectively communicate with technical customers about technical solutions, project plans and progress and obtain customer support and recognition.
  2. Customer requirement Analysis and Guidance: Correctly understand, effectively analyze and manage customer requirements.
  3. Technical problem-solving Capability: Solve complex technical problems of the product family through accurate analysis and location.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor Degree in engineering/Science (Computer, Telecom, Software or relevant)
  2. 2-5 years experience in IP/Datacom/Security field with post and pre sales.
