HRSI is looking for administrator logistic department for one of its leading client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Logistics Operations: Plan and oversee the transportation, distribution, and delivery of goods and materials. Ensure all shipments are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and track inventory levels, ensuring stock levels are maintained and replenished in a timely manner. Oversee the accurate recording of inventory movements.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of logistics activities, including shipments, deliveries, and inventory status. Prepare regular reports on logistics performance and inventory levels.
- Vendor and Supplier Relations: Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and third-party service providers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries of goods and services.
- Data Entry and Systems Management: Input logistics data into the company's supply chain management software or other systems. Ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Problem Solving: Address any issues related to logistics, including delays, damaged goods, or incorrect deliveries. Resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all logistics activities comply with relevant legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Customer Service: Handle inquiries related to deliveries, shipments, and inventory. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that customer orders are processed and delivered as expected.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, production, and procurement, to coordinate logistics activities and ensure smooth workflow across departments.
- Cost Control: Monitor logistics costs and identify areas for cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Matric Or Inter
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related administrative role is usually required. Familiarity with logistics software or warehouse management systems is a plus.
