Senior Officer- Treasury Operations, Clearing & Settlement

Our client, a well-established international bank with a strong presence both in Asia and globally, is seeking a skilled Treasury Operations professional to join its Karachi team as part of expanding operations in Pakistan.

Responsibilities: 

1. Responsible for back office daily payment related transactions.

• Process transfer transactions / Cross-border inward & outward remittance /cheque clearing & etc in CBS.
• Monitor Nostro and Vostro accounts/ BGL accounts balance.
• Confirm the daily Interbank FX dealing and Money Market deal with counterparty, execute related payments.
• Complete accounts reconciliation and investigate the pending payment.
• Ensure proper keeping daily business vouchers and make file timely.
• Ensure strict compliance over anti-money laundering measures.
• Prepare and ensure timely submission of all required reports / returns to SBP, Head Office and other relevant regulatory authorities as assigned from time to time.

2. Ensure for stable and consecutive payment system operation.

• Perform daily operation of CBS, RTGS, RAAST and other payment systems.
• Ensure Core Banking Module is running smoothly and highlight any issues / problems / enhancement system.
• Monitor RTGS and RAAST to ensure the safety of liquidity ,funding position and manage the balance
• Provide support to payment system maintenance and other tasks as may be assigned.
• Analyze payment system related data and support daily SBP reports.

3. Possess strong sense of teamwork and responsibility.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum Graduation
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience
• Languages: English (written & spoken), Chinese (written & spoken) will be preferred 
• Knowledge & Skills: Swift message, operation of RTGS & RAAST
