About the job Manager Finance
Duties and Responsibilities
-Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Analyze financial data to identify trends, perform variance analysis, and recommend actions to improve financial performance.
-Oversee the accounts payable function to ensure timely payments to vendors, accurate expense recognition, and compliance with financial policies.
-Ensure compliance with provincial and federal tax requirements and tax filings. Develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize compliance.
-Coordinate the budgeting process, working with various department heads to prepare the annual budget. Continuously monitor and update forecasts based on business trends and actual performance.
-Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimize cash flow and liquidity.
-Oversee timely documentation and process related to various transactions including import of machinery and various foreign currency payments.
-Ensure accuracy with respect to financial systems of the company in all areas including revenue and receivables, inventory etc.
-Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
-Utilize Oracle EBS to optimize financial processes and provide strategic insights. Experience with
-Oracle is considered a strong advantage.
Qualification: MBA + CFA (2-3 levels cleared)
Experience: 4 to 6 years working experience.
OR
ACA 3 to 6 years of post qualification experience.
ACCA 5 to 8 years post qualification experience in good/reputed/listed companies.
Nature of Experience: Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting, Costing, Tax filings, budgeting, preparation of financial schedules, receivables and payables management, and treasury operations
