COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our Client, a Karachi based company, seeks to appoint experienced professional for the following role:

Key Responsibilities

  • Proposes feasibility of development or maintenance projects while ensuring business continuity. Take decisions in defining the modus of contracts to achieve maximum efficiency. Decision making as per Policies and Procedures in accordance with LAM
  • Obtain approval of projects from management and ensure accurate budgeting of Capital and Revenue projects of the company
  • Oversee project activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines. Prepare and present project status reports to senior management
  • Create master plan of all planned projects so that critical equipment utilization is not overlapped. Plan and monitor operational alternatives to space planning and critical equipment during execution
  • Execute projects as per scope of work and approved methodology ensuring all activities are carried out as per HSE guidelines
  • Manage changes in project scope/activities and ensure timelines are least affected. Ensure project handover to relevant stakeholders and invoicing of all materials & services received
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure smooth execution. Ensure all contractual obligations are met by contractors and vendors
  • Assess the requirement of renovation/ modification/ upgradation of infrastructure, systems (HVAC, electrical, BMS etc), furniture and aesthetics of the company in line with contemporary offices designs/ innovations

Education

  • Minimum 16 years of education, preferably Masters from a renowned and HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder institution, preferably with majors in Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 6-7 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 3-4 years of related functional experience in a similar role.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to details and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Age

  • The candidate should preferably be not more than 40 years of age as of the last date of submission of application.
