About the job Vice President of People

The Vice President of People (VP of People) is a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for developing and executing the human resource and training strategies.

This role oversees all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, benefits, performance management, and organizational development, as well as designing and implementing training programs to ensure the growth and development of staff at all levels. The VP of HR will serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for employees while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Overseeing the entire spectrum of human resources function;

  • Building effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders to define & lead initiatives to support the achievement of business goals;

  • Reviewing, formulating, and implementing HR policies and procedures;

  • Acting as an advocate of the companys values and culture to create a best-in-class work environment;

  • Creating recruiting campaigns to attract high-quality candidates, clarify hiring objectives, and determine effective operational and measurement plans;

  • Serving as a trusted strategic advisor to the executive leadership team by developing strong, proactive, and collaborative working relationships;

  • Utilizing a data-driven approach to identify key trends in the business and proactively provide solutions;

  • Leading a team of HR professionals by guiding team objectives, coaching, and mentoring.

Qualifications & experience

  • 4-6 years of experience building, leading, and managing an HR Team at a global tech company;

  • Creative thinker bringing innovative solutions to the table;

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on both strategic and tactical levels;

  • Proven ability to implement business strategies and solutions within a global company;

  • Ability to manage complex HR programs, including policy design and development;

  • Proven track record in building trust and credibility between HR and employees across all levels of the organisation;

  • Expertise in German employment/ labor laws and regulations;

  • Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills;

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills;

  • Advanced English (proficiency in other languages is a plus).

  • Ability to travel.
