Key Responsibilities:

<> Administer and support mission-critical SQL Server environments in a hybrid infrastructure.

<> Monitor database performance, availability and proactively resolve issues affecting production systems.

<> Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible and automation tools.

<> Develop scripts and solutions to streamline operational processes and improve reliability.

<> Support maintenance activities, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives across the database landscape.


Your Background:

<> Strong experience administering Microsoft SQL Server, including Always On environments.

<> Proficiency with T-SQL, PowerShell and database automation.

<> Experience troubleshooting performance issues and optimizing production databases.

<> Good understanding of high availability, backup and recovery strategies.

<> Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

<> Strong analytical skills and ability to work in dynamic production environments.


Bonus Skills:

<> Experience with Terraform, Ansible and cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP.

<> Familiarity with MongoDB and NoSQL technologies.

<> Experience with Snowflake or modern data warehouse platforms.

<> Knowledge of ITIL processes and Agile methodologies.
