Position: Project Manager for International Investment and Contract Controlling

We have a great career opportunity for a Project Manager in a leading international renewable energy company with a representative office in Kyiv.

Our Partner initiates, plans and builds wind and solar projects worldwide. The Company is an independent power producer (IPP) that executes large-scale international projects as a general contractor and takes over technical and commercial management as an asset manager. In addition, our Partner has a technological competence and develops AI solutions for renewable energies.

We are currently looking for a skilled professional to join the team in Kyiv who will be responsible for the investment controlling of wind and solar energy projects, from financial close through the construction phase to ongoing operations, and will play a central role in managing project budgets and bank covenants.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage investment controlling for wind and solar energy projects, from financial close through the construction phase to ongoing operations;
• Monitor and manage all budgets, and prepare progress and financial reports for senior management;
• Lead centralised bank covenant management, including maintaining, monitoring, and updating the covenant register;
• Ensure compliance with all loan covenants, deadlines, disclosure, and reporting obligations;
• Analyse relevant financial indicators and project milestones, deriving strategic recommendations;
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Treasury, Legal, Project Management, and external lenders;
• Provide support with waivers, contract amendments, refinancing, and restructuring;
• Further develop processes, tools, and dashboards, ensuring high data quality, compliance, and proper documentation.

Qualifications and professional experience:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a comparable discipline;
• Several years of professional experience in Controlling, Covenant Management, Corporate Finance, Treasury, or a similar financial environment;
• In-depth knowledge of financing and loan agreements, with the ability to analyse and assess complex legal and financial issues;
• Strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a structured, independent approach to work;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with assertiveness and a proactive mindset;
• Experience with controlling, covenant, or contract management tools is highly desirable;
• Strong command of Ukrainian and English. German is a plus.
