We have a great career opportunity for a Construction Manager in a leading international renewable energy company with a representative office in Kyiv.

Our Partner initiates, plans and builds wind and solar projects worldwide. The Company is an independent power producer (IPP) that executes large-scale international projects as a general contractor and takes over technical and commercial management as an asset manager. In addition, our Partner has a technological competence and develops AI solutions for renewable energies.

We are currently looking for a skilled professional who will be responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, supervision, and control of all electrical Balance of Plant activities associated with the 120 MW Wind Farm Project. The position ensures that all electrical infrastructure works, including the 110/35 kV substation, 35 kV collector system, fiber-optic communication network, earthing systems, SCADA interfaces, and 110 kV overhead line, are executed safely, on time, in compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, Ukrainian regulations, and international quality standards. The E-BOP Construction Manager acts as the Contractor's lead representative for all electrical construction activities and manages the interfaces between civil works, turbine installation, grid connection, and commissioning.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise all E-BOP construction activities, managing execution in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and project schedules;
  • Supervise the construction of the new 110/35 kV substation, 35 kV collector system, fiber-optic communication systems, and 110 kV Overhead Line (OHL);
  • Coordinate and monitor E-BOP subcontractors regarding safety, quality, productivity, and schedule compliance;
  • Manage interfaces between civil works (C-BOP), WTG installation, grid connection, and commissioning;
  • Resolve technical clashes, participate in design review processes, and ensure construction readiness of work fronts;
  • Support commissioning activities, including testing of substation systems, protection systems, SCADA, and fiber-optic communication networks;
  • Promote a zero-harm safety culture, conduct regular site safety inspections, and ensure compliance with project HSE requirements;
  • Ensure compliance with project QA/QC procedures, verify inspection and test records, and support mechanical completion and handover processes.

Qualifications and professional experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Systems, or equivalent technical discipline;
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in HV/MV electrical construction projects;
  • Minimum 3 years in a Construction Manager or Site Manager role;
  • Proven experience in high-voltage substations (110 kV or higher), medium-voltage cable systems, and overhead transmission lines;
  • Experience with renewable energy projects (wind farm experience is preferred);
  • Strong technical competencies in protection and control systems, SCADA, earthing and lightning protection, and electrical testing/commissioning;
  • Strong command of Ukrainian and English. German is a plus.
