Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of projects as required, including but not limited to quoting, planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, risk management, safety, and quality control.
Lead multiple projects simultaneously throughout the entire life cycle of the project.
Successfully estimate, propose, and manage project scope and budget.
Engage in client relationships through ongoing communication with the understanding of requirements and expectations.
Oversee resource assignments and utilization while coordinating with department managers to ensure schedules stay on track.
Attend client sites in order to determine project needs.
Project manage key milestones and deliverables on multiple phases of small and large-scale projects.
Ensure technical reviews are completed as necessary and provide recommendations for design improvements, when required.
Communicate effectively with contractors responsible for completing various phases of projects.
Participate in meetings and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
Uphold safe work practices and participate in developing and maintaining our safety culture.
Education and Qualifications
Completion of a degree, diploma, or certificate program from a recognized post-secondary organization.
Demonstrated understanding of the food, beverage, and/or pharmaceutical industries is a definite asset
Functional expertise in architectural and/or mechanical discipline(s) or knowledge of process engineering.
Familiarity with NBC, ABC or OBC building codes.
Demonstrated understanding of project management fundamentals - ideally has or is pursuing PMP certification or gold seal.
Ability to manage multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity and respond to competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Project.
