Position Summary:

The company is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial environments. You will be responsible for ensuring all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards while supporting our team in achieving project goals. Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools.

Interpret electrical drawings and job specifications to complete tasks efficiently and in line with local codes.

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and repair needs.

Test electrical systems and ensure circuit compatibility and safety using testing equipment like circuit tracers, voltmeters, meggers, proximity testers, and ohmmeters.

Install panel boards, transformers, motor control centers, and motors.

Work on ladders, aerial lifts, scaffolds, and roofs to install and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and boxes.

Direct and instruct apprentices and helpers to enhance team efficiency.

Maintain trade-specific tools and perform physically demanding tasks like digging trenches and lifting heavy objects.

Qualifications:

3+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Electrical License is a plus.

Proficiency in the use of electrical testing equipment, power tools, and the ability to work with electrical schematics.

Must pass a drug and alcohol test and background check.

Working Conditions:

Use of PPE (hard hat, vest, protective eyewear, safety boots) is required.

Work indoors and outdoors, exposed to varying weather conditions.

Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs regularly.
