Job Description

The Audit Managing Director is responsible for the management of audit engagements and client relationships, selection of audit procedures utilizing a risk-based audit approach, scheduling personnel, review of audit workpapers, reviewing financial statement disclosure footnote and research of new accounting codification and the application of those principles to their respective clients. Additional responsibilities include general day-to-day client relationships, determination of billings for engagements, and training, supervision, and evaluation of Staff and Seniors. The Managing Director will also work with clients in developing best practices for internal controls and operational controls, review operational budgets, assist with business financing, and a variety of other special projects.

Essential Job Functions

Developing and executing the company's business strategies

Preparing and implementing comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement

Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company's survival and growth

Provide strategic advice to the Shareholders and President

Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of Directors, Managers, Senior Associates, and Associates by providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance

Oversee client engagements from start to finish, which includes planning, executing

fieldwork on schedule with associate staff as applicable, and completing engagements

Identify value-added suggestions from audits and reviews for client utilization

Staff development

Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality

Special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

CPA certification is required

Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans

Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the Firm

Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance

Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability in office 2-3 days a week
