Were seeking a Lead/Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our efforts in developing advanced brushless motor technologies. What You'll Do
Lead Design & Development:
Drive the design and development of brushless motors (BLDC, PMSM, SRM), including magnetic circuit and mechanical design.
Innovate Through Simulation:
Conduct electromagnetic simulations using tools like ANSYS Maxwell or JMAG to optimize motor performance and efficiency.
Prototype & Validate:
Develop and test prototypes, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and compliance standards.
Integrate Systems:
Collaborate with power electronics and motor control teams to achieve seamless system integration and performance optimization.
Collaborate on Mechanical Design:
Work closely with mechanical engineers on CAD designs, thermal management, and structural integrity.
Develop Motor Control Algorithms:
Support the development and refinement of motor control algorithms such as FOC, vector control, and sensorless control.
Build the Foundation:
Establish processes, standards, and best practices for our new production facility to ensure efficient and scalable operations.
Mentor & Lead:
Lead and mentor a growing team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
What Were Looking For
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience:
57 years of hands-on experience in brushless motor design and development, with leadership experience preferred.
Technical Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of brushless motor design (BLDC, PMSM, SRM).
Proficiency in electromagnetic simulation tools like ANSYS Maxwell or JMAG.
Strong understanding of motor control principles, including FOC and vector control.
Experience with power electronics and motor-drive integration.
Skilled in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and prototyping techniques.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment.
Collaborative and team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Bonus Skills:
Familiarity with setting up production lines and processes for motor manufacturing.
Experience in thermal and mechanical analysis, industrial certifications, and patent filings.
