Hiring for a Pakistan based -E-Commerce platform.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Product Designer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of our consumer-facing product, which reaches hundreds of thousands of users across Pakistan. You will be responsible for crafting and refining design concepts, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including Data Science, Product, and Engineering—to translate ideas into intuitive, user-centric features.

Your role will focus on enhancing the user interactions & user experience by introducing innovative design solutions that deliver an intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user journey


Key Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with Product team to research and define requirements, articulate user needs, and translate those needs into intuitive, elegant interface designs.
• Design user-centered web and mobile application interfaces, focusing on improving overall user experience based on industry needs and real user needs and behaviors.
• Define interaction models, user task flows, and UI specifications that align with product goals.
• Communicate design concepts—including user scenarios, end-to-end experiences, Figma prototypes, and screen designs—to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
•  Create and maintain design artifacts such as wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and UI specifications throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Work closely with other designers to ensure visual and functional consistency across the product ecosystem.
• Maintain comprehensive design documentation to facilitate transparency and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
• Partner with Software Quality Assurance teams to review and refine final designs before implementation.
• Collect feedback and identify UI/UX problems and propose wellthought-out, user-friendly solutions.
• Apply a user-centered design process and iterate rapidly based on testing and feedback.
• Conduct usability testing to validate design effectiveness and uncover unmet user needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Design is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Figma is mandatory with experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and design systems using Figma. 
• Fresh–3 years of hands-on experience in user experience design, including conducting user testing and/or analytical research.

Requirements:

• Solid grasp of design theory and familiarity with design thinking methodologies.
• Experience in creating and managing a Design System.
• Demonstrated understanding of psychological principles in design and their application to user experience.
• Basic understanding or prior experience with agile methodologies and QA processes is a plus.
• A naturally curious mindset and a strong drive to empathize with users, uncover insights, and deliver elegant solutions.
• Proficiency with a variety of design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
• Ability and willingness to prototype design concepts to explore and validate ideas quickly. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and justify design decisions.
• Ability to consider the entire product development process, including technical constraints and implementation realities, when crafting designs.
• A proactive approach to improving team workflows and promoting collaboration.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS is an advantage.
• Balanced strengths in both visual and interaction design
• Proficiency in Figma is mandatory with experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and design systems using Figma.
• Fresh–3 years of hands-on experience in user experience design, including conducting user testing and/or analytical research.

Work Time: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm OR 10:00 am - 10:00pm
