Hiring Technical Project Manager | Karachi (Onsite)
About Our Client:
It is a leading software development company specializing in B2B and B2C solutions, custom software development, and software exports, serving both local and international markets.
Primary Duties:
Lead End-to-End Delivery: Manage software development projects from requirement gathering to deployment, maintenance, and client handover.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a central point of contact between clients, developers, designers, QA, and business teams to align expectations and goals.
Requirement Translation: Gather client requirements and translate them into user stories, functional specifications, wireframes, and detailed timelines.
Project Planning: Define project scopes, budgets, and schedules. Build and manage project roadmaps.
Agile Facilitation: Conduct sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Project Tracking: Use tools like Jira, ClickUp, Asana or Trello to manage tasks, track progress, assign responsibilities, and report risks.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify roadblocks, conflicts, and risks, and resolve them before they escalate.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze project delivery cycles to improve processes, eliminate bottlenecks, and optimize team performance.
Client Feedback & Iteration: Incorporate feedback into sprints, and adapt scope and deliverables where necessary for iterative, product-focused delivery.
Job Role Secondary:
Documentation: Maintain clear and updated documentation of project plans, meeting notes, decision logs, and risk registers.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Help with resource planning, capacity forecasting, and coordination across departments.
Support Business Development: Provide timelines and technical input for proposals and client pitches.
Quality & Delivery Governance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards before deployment.
Training & Mentorship: Share knowledge with junior PMs or coordinators and assist in their development.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience managing software projects, ideally in an agency or service-based setup.
Strong hands-on experience with at least one project management tool (Jira, Asana, Trello, ClickUp, etc.).
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience working with international clients.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cross-functional teams and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with MVP thinking, UI/UX collaboration, and iterative product delivery.
