Accountant (On-Site | Karachi | Salary in PKR)

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, cash and bank handling, financial reporting, and tax compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.


Key Responsibilities

Cash & Bank Handling

• Manage daily cash receipts and payments

• Handle cheque receipts and cheque payments

• Perform regular bank reconciliations

• Record cash and bank transactions accurately

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Prepare and record invoices, including rent, utilities, amenities, and purchases

• Post journal vouchers and monthly expense entries

• Maintain accurate accounting records using QuickBooks and Google Docs

• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records

Reporting

• Prepare daily cash and receivables reports

• Generate weekly utility profit & loss (P&L) reports

• Prepare monthly utility, salary, and invoice-based P&L reports

• Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements

Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and submit Withholding Tax (WHT) PSID

• Ensure compliance with FBR regulations and requirements

• Support tax-related documentation and audits as needed

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Proven experience in basic accounting and bookkeeping

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks

• Strong reconciliation, reporting, and analytical skills

• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
