Head of Finance - Onsite - Karachi

Company Overview:

Hiring for one of our Fintech Firm in Karachi.

Location: Karachi

Time & Days: 11 am to 7pm

Job Description:

- Oversee the complete accounting cycle and prepare financial statements in compliance with the Companies Act, 2017.

- Manage the full taxation function of operating and NBFC-licensed companies, including Income Tax (withholding taxes) and Sales Tax (SRB, PRA).

- Prepare and submit monthly EOBI reports in a timely manner.

- Work with CEO to build out budgeting, planning and forecasting of funds

- Handle all company secretarial matters in coordination with legal advisors.

- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements and timely submission of monthly compliance reports.

- Liaise with external auditors, CDC, and banks on operational and financial matters.

- Lead the finance team (2-3 people) and ensure accurate reconciliation of general ledgers with no discrepancies.

- Coordinate with Financial Operations, Business Development and Data teams to ensure timely processing of repayments and disbursements.

- Process monthly payroll and manage final settlements of employees.

- Issue tax deduction certificates and salary slips to employees.

- Manage treasury functions, including investments in mutual funds and monitoring of fund positions.

- SECP Fillings - Form A . Form 9 , Board Resolutions , AGM related matters

- Oversee Weekly payments to suppliers and vendors along with staff reimbursements

Requirements

- Total 10 years of experience at least 5 years experience in a upper management role in finance (NBFC, Bank, Fintech preferred)

- Understand the basics of accounting in regards to financing/lending

- Have some understanding/experience of liaising with SECP or regulatory bodies

- CMA/CFA/CA qualifications preferred but not required
