Magento Developer (3 to 5 Years Experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Magento Developer with 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience to build, customize, and maintain Magento websites. The ideal candidate writes clean, maintainable code, understands Magento architecture, and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent written and spoken English is required for clear communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Magento functionality (modules, themes, checkout, catalog, admin).
• Build and extend custom modules following Magento best practices and coding standards.
• Integrate third-party services using REST/GraphQL APIs (payments, shipping, CRM/ERP, marketing tools).
• Optimize performance, stability, and security (caching, indexing, DB optimization, frontend performance).
• Handle upgrades, patching, deployments, and environment configurations.
• Debug issues, fix bugs, and deliver enhancements with proper testing.
• Work closely with product, design, and QA to translate requirements into production-ready releases.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and provide regular progress updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of professional Magento development experience.
• proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Magento templating.
• Solid understanding of Magento architecture.
• Experience with Composer, Magento CLI, patching, and release workflows.
• Comfortable with Git version control and structured development practices.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud or managed hosting environments.
• Familiarity with Hyvä, PWA Studio, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Redis/Varnish/CDN.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
