Job Summary: AWS Cloud Software Engineer (Python)

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Software Engineer (Python) to join our rapidly growing engineering team. This role focuses primarily on backend development using Python while leveraging AWS cloud services to build scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. Candidates with experience in serverless computing, cloud-native architecture, and AWS-certified expertise (AWS Solutions Architect) will excel in this role.

You will contribute to designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications that support our internal tools, and emerging AI-powered products.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain backend services and cloud-native applications using Python.

2. Build secure and scalable architectures using core AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch.

3. Implement secure and reliable infrastructure using IaC tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, enhance, and optimize cloud-based solutions.

5. Monitor, debug, and improve application performance and availability in production environments.

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python backend development.

2. AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) certification required.

3. Strong experience building solutions on AWS (serverless, APIs, storage, compute).

4. Knowledge of secure coding practices, IAM policies, and AWS security fundamentals.

5. Experience with microservices, REST APIs, event-driven systems, and cloud-native design principles.
